Judit Marai holds a LLM degree in Comparative Law with an Intellectual Property Specialty from the University of San Diego, CA and a Masters in Law from Hungary, Europe. She joined ScreamingBox in 2015.
Before joining ScreamingBox she worked for boutique law firms in San Diego and Los Angeles, CA. She gained a lot of experience in intellectual property and contracts. She also has over 15 years of experience as an attorney and in-house counsel, both in the US and the European Union.
She works directly with the ScreamingBox CEO as a foreign legal consultant. Her responsibilities are legal and compliance related, including international business relationships, internal company policies, leading and coordinating compliance activities.
Judit supports the management team, the HR department, and the sales team with legal advice, compliance, and contractual work.
Favorite Food: I love seafood and Italian cuisine.
Hobbies: yoga, running, hiking, and being in nature.
How She Spends Her Free Time: I have the luxury of spending my time with the work I love. I only love a small segment of the law, so this is truly a blessing, and sometimes it is hard to get away from it. I am devoted to a healthy lifestyle, cooking, and finding balance in life. We live in the city center, which has many perks, but being close to nature is not one of them, so I try to get out of the city as often as possible. Also, I always make time to play boardgames as often as I can.
